| Q. |
What equipment do
I need? |
| A. |
To play roller hockey there is a need for protective
equipment. Roller hockey is played as a non-checking sport (contact
is allowed, but only when aiming to play the puck). Also, roller
hockey is played with a plastic puck so selecting the right
equipment is very important. To assist in this process, you
may like to refer to this guide. Click
here. |

| Q. |
How many games
and practices are there in a season? |
| A. |
The season's mix of games and practices
varies depending on the age group of the players. Younger
age groups have a focus on player development and practices,
therefore the ratio is weighted towards more practices. Generally,
players will see about 12-14 practices and 8-10 games per
session.
