Q. What equipment do I need?
A. To play roller hockey there is a need for protective equipment. Roller hockey is played as a non-checking sport (contact is allowed, but only when aiming to play the puck). Also, roller hockey is played with a plastic puck so selecting the right equipment is very important. To assist in this process, you may like to refer to this guide. Click here.

A. There are complete equipment packages available from The Hockey Closet's Bob Currao and a host of online sources. You can reach Bob at (732)-688-0383. You can check out a few of our favorite websites here.

Q. How many games and practices are there in a season?
A.

The season's mix of games and practices varies depending on the age group of the players. Younger age groups have a focus on player development and practices, therefore the ratio is weighted towards more practices. Generally, players will see about 12-14 practices and 8-10 games per session.
